I hadn't been to Taboga in many years it used to be a frequent childhood hang out when I'd go with my Dad & my Sister to stay at my Dad's friends house because he owned a house on the Island. Taboga was much different then lively, vibrant, clean, and a happy town now it just makes me sad to look at. I took pictures of the good things I saw & the good things I remember but the beach was contaminated with dead fish and the area where the really nice hotel was had been tore down and the debris was still there & you could tell that no one had even bothered to keep the place clean.
My Cousin Orianna was here visiting from the States so I tried to spend as much time with her (as much as my work schedule would allow) as she was only here for a few days. Even though Taboga had changed I still had a good time because I broke out of my daily routine & got to spend time with my Cousins whom I love to death even though I hadn't seen Orianna since she was a little girl.
My Cousins Orianna & Sarai (whom you've seen plenty of in previous posts).
Always up to no good... Mischief managed!
It started raining so we decided it was time to eat lunch. We found a quaint tiny restaurant a few blocks ahead. I was overjoyed to see that the only thing on the menu was not seafood. Jackpot!
Awesome Cousin being awesome! =)
My Bistec picados with ensalada and papas fritas. =)
