Last month I had to quit my job because of my Father's passing. Even after I quit - the same company called me to come back for their next planned training session. I decided to accept their offer and started working again on Monday. When I was in the first training in the month of April all of my classmates/coworkers made me feel extremely welcome and I miss them but I see them in the hallway every now & then.
As when you begin a new job meeting your co workers is always awkward at first but my new class has also made me feel welcome from the get go; in fact most of them always consider me to be their leader and spokes person when were doing any type of classroom activity. It's not that I look down on myself but sometimes I don't think very highly of myself most of the time I think I don't have the capability to do things as well as others so it is shocking and endearing to me that they visualize me in such way. April was a really hard month for me as most of you know but May has been easier to get through because my classmates make me laugh and smile every single day.
Even though Dad is in Heaven my life is full of many blessings because so many people care about me.
Sounds like you landed yourself an awesome job. At the atmosphere is something to be jealous of! Where I work most of us can't stand each other but tolerate because things need to get done. Good on you! :)
ReplyDeleteI hope that the job is as awesome as the people. We start taking calls this Monday so I'll know then. I know what you mean because that's happened to me before it's really hard to work in a place where you don't get along with the people you work with.
