This is my first time watching a Korean TV show & I must say that I I'm glad I did because Operation Proposal was a really good one. It was a lot better than I expected it would be.
The main characters in this Korean drama are Kang Baek-Ho & Ham Yi-Seul. The first episode happens to start on Valentine's Day & it is the day of Yi-seul's wedding. Baek-Ho is late to the ceremony & when he get's there he then realizes that it is not him that's going to marry her but another man. Baek-Ho & Yi-seul have been friends since childhood & Baek-ho has secretly been in love with her for over 20 years yet he's always been afraid to demonstrate that to her in fear of losing their friendship lest does he know that Yi-seul has always felt the same way about him also.
She ends up getting married to the other man & then the next scene we see is Baek-ho crying his eyes out in a park he is then approached by a mysterious man called a Conductor who helps him to travel in time to change the past so that Baek-ho can confess his love to Yi-seul and stop her from marrying the other man. As we all know changing the future can never be easy so naturally Baek-ho has to pass through a lot of deception & turmoil till he can finally get his wish.
The cast of this show is full of fun loving characters one of them who will stop at nothing to win the love of his friend Yoo Chae-ri. I had so much fun watching this show & cried a lot because it's very sentimental it's sadly only 16 episodes long so it's a quick watch I'd end up watching around 4 episodes daily after coming home from work so I'd end up going to bed around 3 am everyday. You can find Operation Proposal on Netflix! ;)
